Women Helping Hand Organization

It is my privilege to present the organizational profile of Women Helping Hand Organization (WHHO), a non-profit, non-political, and community-based organization established in 2024. The organization is legally registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961 (XLVI of 1961), in October 2024, and is additionally registered under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Charities Act, 2019, in May 2025. WHHO is committed to promoting inclusive social development in alignment with government priorities and in coordination with relevant line departments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through interventions focused on women empowerment, child welfare, primary healthcare, gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response, and community development. WHHO operates in underserved and vulnerable communities where access to essential services remains limited. Our interventions are designed to complement ongoing development efforts by strengthening community-based systems, enhancing awareness, and improving access to basic health and protection services at the grassroots level. The organization places strong emphasis on coordination and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including government line departments such as the Social Welfare Department, Health Department, Lady Health Workers (LHWs), and community-based structures. Through these partnerships, WHHO aims to strengthen community outreach, improve referral mechanisms, and promote effective service delivery for marginalized populations. WHHO acknowledges the continued support and cooperation of government institutions, district administrations, and community stakeholders in facilitating its work. The organization remains fully committed to transparency, accountability, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations while implementing all its interventions. Looking ahead, WHHO is dedicated to further strengthening its institutional capacity, expanding its outreach to remote and underserved areas, and enhancing the effectiveness of its community-based programs in line with both government priorities and humanitarian development frameworks. We remain committed to contributing toward a healthier, safer, and more inclusive society in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through sustainable and community-driven development initiatives.
